To conduct rigorous epidemiological and molecular research on communicable diseases, provide advanced reference diagnostics, and implement targeted health interventions to uplift the well-being of the indigenous tribes and general population.

Operational Mandate & Services

Reference Diagnostics

Providing precise confirmatory molecular testing for Leptospirosis, Arboviruses, and endemic pathogen surveillance.

Outbreak Response

Ensuring the rapid deployment of scientific teams and mobile epidemiological units during suspected public health crises.

Academic Integration

Offering rigorous dissertation projects, short-term research internships, and robust academic PhD development programs.

Stakeholder Support

Partnering directly with indigenous tribes, state health departments, and global entities including the World Health Organization.

Expectations from Clients

To enable our regional laboratories and field stations to serve the community efficiently and maintain stringent biosafety parameters, we respectfully request our public and clinical clients to adhere to the following institutional guidelines:

  • Adhere strictly to ICMR cold-chain and bio-hazard protocols.
  • Provide accurate clinical history on official ICMR requisition forms.
  • Observe official public timings for diagnostic inquiries.
  • Submit grievances with documented details for rapid resolution.

Grievance Redressal Timeline

Our transparent grievance redressal system ensures that all formal complaints regarding services, academics, or administration are resolved systematically and swiftly along a mandated operational timeline:

Initial Review

Official acknowledgment of the grievance and immediate assignment to the relevant departmental nodal officer.

Routine Resolution

Complete resolution of standard diagnostic inquiries, routine procedural queries, and general administrative delays.

Complex Escalation

Final, authoritative adjudication for complex scientific disputes, academic program grievances, or overarching policy matters.
